It's okay, Billy, God WANTS you to be a murdering hypocrit.
I'm livid. I am so angry I am sick. But instead of breaking furniture I decided just to let as many people know as possible about this.
Okay, remember 9/11? Of course you do. Who the hell could forget it? I actually turned on the TV and happened to catch the news coverage just after the first plane hit, and we were all still thinking maybe it was a ghastly accident. But no, it wasn't. And we all watched in horror. People were dead - thousands of them. My sister had a friend in that building, who thankfully was off work that day. My downstairs neighbour had a cousin in there. Sadly, he was not off that day. Then we learned the horrible truth. This was all coldly and carefully planned by fanatics thousands of miles away. Men, women, children, babies, hundreds upon hundreds of them, dead for the greater glory of their version of God. Dead because they were infidels, and evil, and did not worship as they worshiped. Dead for their perceived sins. Dead. People raged and howled for blood, and who could blame them? So much murder. It could not go unpunished. What sort of sick monster could do such a thing?
Who indeed? What was that quote from the old "Pogo" comic strip? Oh yeah. I remember. "General we have met the enemy, and he is us."
In the United States, a Fundamentalist Christian group has just created a video game. In the game you get to run around and murder Jews, Gays, Pagans, and other Christians who don't belong to your sect, or who refuse to convert. You get to run through the streets and slaughter the infidels for the greater glory of Jesus. Sound familiar? Are you half as fucking sick and horrified as I am? Don't believe me? Here's the link:

I intend to raise as much noise as I can about this. If you want to gak this message and post it someplace else then please by all means feel free. We cannot give even the illusion of condoning this sort of sickness. Boycott it, protest it, write letters about it, burn it in the streets if you feel the need. Murdering people for not being just like you is one of the most heinous crimes I can think of, and making a GAME out of it to sell to teenagers to condition them to slaughter their neighbours is just about the sickest thing I have ever heard.
Murder is not faith.
